On 26 May 2026, Spirituality in IT (SiT), Brahma Kumaris at Jakkur Retreat Centre, Bangalore, organised the special program “Spirituality & Well-being for Kids and Parents” for children and parents.
With guided meditation, mindful activities, gamified learning, interactive discussions and lots of joyful moments, the children and parents who joined the program went back home with much more than just memories.
Today’s children are growing up in the age of AI, a world where information, answers, skills and convenience are becoming instantly accessible. Technology continues to become smarter, faster and more capable.
But amidst all this advancement, there are certain things that technology and sometimes even parents, cannot fully teach us. Like how to:
- manage our thoughts
- respond calmly under pressure
- build emotional resilience
- stay peaceful amidst noise
- make wise and conscious choices
- understand and manage our inner world
And perhaps these are the very abilities that shape a truly fulfilling and balanced life.
At SiT, Brahma Kumaris, efforts are being made to create reflective programs, workshops and retreats that help both children and adults build these inner capabilities through spirituality, mindfulness, Rajyoga Meditation and meaningful conversations.
The organisers shared that many individuals have personally experienced how transformational these learnings can be — not only spiritually, but also emotionally, mentally, professionally and in everyday life itself. Through such initiatives, the aim is to make these valuable tools and experiences accessible to as many people as possible.
The event concluded with happiness, gratitude and positive feedback from all participants. The organisers also expressed their good wishes to welcome everyone to future programs and spiritual gatherings soon.
