On 28 March 2026, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, a one-day experiential and creative Shiv Shakti Leadership Retreat was successfully organized at Brahma Kumaris, Jakur Retreat Center, Bengaluru. The program was jointly organized by the Shiv Shakti Leadership Approach (India Region) and the Liness Service Organization, District K1 Anupama, Bengaluru.
The central theme of the retreat, “Affectionist Shakti – The Leader No Matter What,” inspired participants to embody leadership through love, humility, inner strength, and spiritual values.
The program was graced by the esteemed presence of Brahma Kumaris dignitaries along with All India Liness Club President Asha Mohan ji and Co-Chairperson Niranjana Bhargi ji as Chief Guests. District K1 Anupama President Liness Vatsala Romesh ji and Dr. Nalini ji, President of IMA (Indian Medical Association), Bengaluru attended as Guests of Honour. Past presidents, vice presidents, treasurers, secretaries, and various club presidents were also present as special guests.
Around 140 Liness members from across Bengaluru actively and enthusiastically participated in the retreat, making the event vibrant and meaningful.
The entire day’s program was creative, motivating, and engaging. The enthusiastic participation of all attendees was truly heartening. The serene and spiritually uplifting environment of the retreat center enhanced the overall experience, while the nutritious and delicious food reflected thoughtful care and hospitality.
During the retreat, participants took a pledge to practice Affectionist Shiv Shakti Leadership by leading with love, humility, inner strength, and selfless service. They also committed to supporting and uplifting fellow women members, helping them realize their inner Shiv Shakti and grow as confident and compassionate leaders.
Participants expressed sincere gratitude and sought continued guidance, blessings, and spiritual support from the Brahma Kumaris SSLA team to further strengthen this leadership approach and inspire more women to serve society with love, dignity, and values.
The cultural program was delightful and thoroughly enjoyable, adding joy and enthusiasm to the event.
Heartfelt thanks were extended to Liness Niranjana Bandari, Liness Vinina Shivanand, and Liness Girija Rajaram for their continuous support and encouragement. Special appreciation was also conveyed to District President Liness Vatsala Romesh ji and her team for their dedicated efforts in bringing together members from different parts of Bengaluru.
Gratitude was also expressed to all club presidents and members for their valuable contributions and enthusiastic presence.
The retreat proved to be a memorable, inspiring, and spiritually enriching experience for all.
