On 27 December 2025, a Mindful Meditation Evening was organised by the Consulate General of India in Guangzhou in collaboration with Brahma Kumaris in Guangzhou to honour the 2nd UN World Meditation Day.
During the programme, Sister Sapna conducted a guided meditation, along with explaining the technique and benefits of meditation. The session enabled participants to experience calmness, inner peace, and mental clarity.
BK Sisters Khushi and Ivy also presented a soulful Indian classical performance titled “Satyam Shivam Sundaram”, which added a deep spiritual and cultural essence to the evening.
The gathering of about 200 participants, including a majority of Chinese participants, along with some expatriates and consulate officers, witnessed and experienced a serene and peaceful evening. The vibrations of the venue became deeply tranquil, and many participants expressed their interest in learning Rajyoga Meditation and visiting the Brahma Kumaris centre.
The second part of the event witnessed the lighting of lamps by all participants to mark the inscription of the festival of Diwali on UNESCO’s list, making the atmosphere even more divine and spiritually uplifting.
