On 21 December 2025, on the auspicious occasion of the 2nd UN World Meditation Day, the Consulate General of India, Guangzhou organized a serene and uplifting Mindful Meditation Evening, promoting inner peace, harmony, and collective well-being.
The programme began with opening remarks by Acting Consul General Ms. Muskan Jindal, who eloquently highlighted the transformative power of meditation. Speaking on the theme
“A change in one is a change in millions,” she emphasized how individual inner transformation can positively impact society at large.
The highlight of the evening was a deeply calming guided meditation session conducted by Brahma Kumari Sister Sapna ji. The meditation created a peaceful and reflective atmosphere, enabling participants to experience stillness, mindfulness, and inner balance.
The event was attended by around 100 participants and was further enriched by a soulful cultural performance presented by BK sisters, which added a spiritual and artistic dimension to the gathering. The programme concluded with light Indian refreshments, fostering warm interaction among the attendees.
The evening proved to be a truly enriching experience, leaving participants inspired by the values of mindfulness, harmony, and inner peace, in alignment with the spirit of World Meditation Day.
