On 23 May 2026, a one-day Children’s Camp was successfully conducted at Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the participation of 53 children. The camp focused on developing moral values, concentration, creativity, awareness, and positive thinking through interactive activities and meditation.
The program began with an introduction session where children got to know each other and felt comfortable. A storytelling session titled “The Lion and the Sheep” was conducted by BK Jayashree, followed by group discussions on moral values.
A creative scribbling art activity by BK Janani helped children improve concentration and express creativity. Children also participated in simple neuro activities to enhance focus and coordination.
An awareness session on Good Touch and Bad Touch by BK Janani helped children learn about personal safety. A moral values session by BK Jayashree encouraged good behaviour, honesty, and kindness. A digital awareness session guided children on safe and limited use of mobile phones.
Fun group games like “Balance and Build” and “Rabbit, Wall and Arrow” were conducted to build teamwork and coordination. A positive affirmations and meditation session by BK Jayashree helped children feel calm and confident.
The camp ended with a Butterfly Hand Band Activity by BK Janani, which children enjoyed making.
Feedback: Children enjoyed all activities and learned important life lessons, especially about safety and mobile usage. Parents appreciated the focus on values and awareness and were happy with the positive impact on children.
In conclusion, the camp was a joyful and meaningful experience that helped children learn values, stay aware, and develop positive habits.
