At the Global Retreat Centre, Peace Fest created a profound atmosphere of silence and self-reflection. Sister Sudesh, Joint Administrative Head of the Brahma Kumaris, invited everyone to pause and reflect deeply with a thought-provoking question: Are you a human being or just a human doing?
In a world often absorbed in roles, responsibilities, and endless activities, Peace Fest became a gentle call to reconnect with the timeless, peaceful soul within – a space beyond labels and duties. Sister Sudesh emphasized the transformative power of inner silence with the reminder: “Silence finishes violence.” She highlighted that cultivating peace within prevents harm and nurtures ethical action in society.
Adding further depth, Neville Hodgkinson shared insights on how modern science is now aligning with ancient spiritual wisdom. He explained that to truly understand the world around us, we must first understand our inner consciousness.
Peace Fest inspired all who attended to discover their inner peace, embrace conscious living, and realize the joy that arises when stillness meets life’s responsibilities with clarity and compassion.
