26 July 2026: On the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the Brahma Kumaris Centre in St. Petersburg, Rajyogini BK Santosh Didi was honoured with two prestigious awards in recognition of the Brahma Kumaris' dedicated service to society and for strengthening spiritual and cultural harmony.
The awards were presented during the public programme “Trust: Currency of the Future,” attended by distinguished dignitaries, public personalities and well-wishers.
Rev. Buda Badmayev, Senior Priest of Datsan Gunzechoiney, the Buddhist Temple of St. Petersburg, presented Santosh Didi with the Medal of Distinction, issued to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the northernmost Buddhist temple in Europe. Congratulating the Brahma Kumaris on completing 36 years of spiritual service in the city, he described the Lighthouse Centre as an “island of goodness in difficult times” and said that kindness is always stronger than evil. He appreciated Santosh Didi for inspiring people with the values of goodness, peace and spirituality and said the award was a symbol of mutual understanding, trust and friendship between Russia and India.
On this occasion, Santosh Didi presented a special award plaque to Rev. Buda Badmayev on his 65th birthday and appreciated his constant service in spreading the values of purity, goodness and harmony.
Santosh Didi also received the “Conquerors of the Universe” Award from Mr. Oleg Mukhin, Vice President of the Russian Cosmonautics Federation, and Mr. Sergey Kuzionov, Member of the Presidium of the Club of Knights of the Order of Alexander Nevsky. The award was presented in recognition of her valuable contribution to strengthening cooperation and friendship between Russia and India.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Oleg Mukhin recalled his first meeting with Santosh Didi many years ago and shared that her life is an example of purity, benevolence and selfless service. He said that a person with a pure heart naturally earns respect and achieves success while serving humanity.
The awards ceremony became even more special with the divine presence of 22 Madhuban resident brothers from Pandav Bhavan, Gyan Sarovar, Shantivan and the Global Hospital, Mount Abu, whose presence brought the spiritual vibrations of Madhuban to the celebration.
The brothers and sisters of the Brahma Kumaris Centre, St. Petersburg, expressed their heartfelt congratulations to Rajyogini BK Santosh Didi on receiving these well-deserved honours. The awards stand as a recognition of the Brahma Kumaris' continuous efforts in spreading the values of peace, purity, love and spiritual awakening in society.
