26 January 2026 was celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm at the historic Guildhall as the Indian community came together for a Grand Republic Day Celebration.
The event was honoured by the presence of the High Commissioner of India, Mr. Vikram Doraiswami, who hoisted the Indian Tricolour in front of a large and vibrant gathering of the Indian diaspora. The historic atmosphere of the Guildhall made the occasion even more special.
More than 1,000 guests attended the celebration, including people from Business, Education, and the United Nations. The programme was further dignified by the presence of representatives from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, filling the gathering with pride and respect for the nation.
The evening also provided a warm opportunity to share memorable moments with Maheshbhai, Swati, and Jaymini. The positive energy and unity seen in the hall truly reflected the strength and togetherness of Indians living abroad.
The celebration successfully highlighted the spirit of India and reinforced the bond of unity, patriotism, and cultural pride among the global Indian community.
