Experience Patience When Waiting For Situations To Change

We have all waited for different things, from experience we know they can take time. Yet we become impatient when a difficult situation is in front of us.

  1. How good are you at waiting for what you really want very eagerly – a change in habit, job interview result, a promotion, weight loss or your turn at the billing counter? And how do you respond to known or unexpected delays, which are very common nowadays in day-to-day personal and professional life?
  2. Being patient is more about inner self-control or control of the mind and less about time. Patience with self, people and situations bring more peace, compassion and acceptance inside us. When you show patience, you will have the power to handle challenges as you don’t deplete energy creating impatience or irritation.
  3. Complaining, thinking about situations again and again, feeling anxious or hurrying yourself or people are not solutions. Remain easy, set timelines and discipline yourself and other people with dignity. They are doing their best and everything happens when it is meant to be at the right time. Focus on other activities or engage your mind in other things while waiting.
  4. Do not abandon the goal due to the time it takes to materialize, do not take fast decisions and do not look for shortcuts. Meditate daily to increase your patience, resilience and tolerance. The more you create right thoughts during the waiting period, the easier it becomes to wait.
