Each and every human soul’s original sanskara is peace. Before each soul comes down on the earth to take its first physical body, the soul is in a state of complete peace, staying in the soul world. In the soul world, the two faculties of the soul – the mind and intellect are completely inactive and the third faculty, the sanskara or spiritual personality is full of eternal peace and purity with no experience of joy, love or wisdom. The mind is completely silent. It does not use its power to think and does not create a single thought. The intellect which possesses the power to discriminate right thoughts, words and actions from the wrong ones does not use its power because there are no thoughts, words or actions in the soul world, so there is nothing there to discriminate. The intellect also possesses the power to visualize, which it does not use in the soul world. Also, there are no thoughts, feelings, words or actions to be created, which would be based on the sanskaras or personality. The soul just exists in its perfectly pure and peaceful bodiless stage.
When the soul first takes a physical body on the world stage in the Golden Age or Heaven, which is the first Age of the repetitive World Cycle or Drama, it creates thoughts which are few in number and they are only positive and necessary in nature. Its discrimination power is active and completely accurate and the soul creates only right thoughts, words and actions. Its visualization is also always positive. Also, all its thoughts, words and actions are based on sanskaras or personality traits of divine and pure qualities. As a result of this, the soul experiences immense peace, but the extent of the peace is lesser than the peace in the soul world, where it is completely still and experiences deep silence or peace. It is never peaceless though in this initial stage of its journey in the physical world. As the soul starts coming into the process of birth and rebirth and enters the Copper Age or Hell after the Golden Age and Silver Age, it starts losing its spiritual energy due to body consciousness and its mind, intellect and sanskaras start functioning negatively at times. It begins to come under the influence of vices or different negative habits, leading to the creation of thoughts, words and actions, which are not only large in number but many of them are unnecessary or negative in nature. As a result, the soul gradually begins to lose its deep and eternal peace, which it experienced in the soul world and the peace experienced while performing actions at the start of its journey in the physical world and starts becoming peaceless.
Tomorrow we shall explain how we can experience our original state of peace of the physical world.
