On 9 August 2025, the Brahma Kumaris family joyfully celebrated Raksha Bandhan at the Pinak Mandap of the 34th Battalion PAC, Varanasi, creating a spiritual and festive atmosphere. The program was graced by Battalion Commandant Shri Pankaj Kumar Pandey (IPS), senior officers, and personnel.
Respected Brahma Kumari sisters – Saroj Didi, Chanda Didi, Sadhana Behan, Madhu Behan, Sneha Behan, Neha Behan, and Rachna Behan – lovingly tied sacred Rakhi threads on the wrists of 600 recruit constables undergoing training, conveying blessings for their bright future. Rakhis were also tied to Battalion Commandant Shri Pankaj Kumar Pandey (IPS) and his wife, who were presented with divine gifts. Both shared their heartfelt appreciation for the program’s spiritual energy and uplifting environment. Special presence was marked by BK O.N. Upadhyay Bhai, BK Suraj Bhai, BK Shyam Bhai, BK Saurabh Bhai, and BK Satyam Bhai.
Addressing the gathering, Brahma Kumari Saroj Didi explained that this Rakhi from the Supreme Father is not only a symbol of the sacred bond between brother and sister but also a reminder to renounce vices and live a pure, virtuous life. In a symbolic pledge, all personnel wrote down one of their vices on a slip of paper, placed it in a box, and resolved never to repeat it again.
The program concluded with words of gratitude from Battalion Commandant Shri Pankaj Kumar Pandey (IPS), who extended warm Raksha Bandhan greetings to all personnel. The event was also attended by Assistant Commandant Mohammad Fazil Siddiqui, Subedar Major Shri Mukhtar Yadav, RTC In-charge Sudhir Kumar Singh, PC Brijesh Kumar Rai, along with other officers and staff.
