On 12th March 2025, a special Digital Wellness Session was conducted at the Nanded Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center to commemorate International Women’s Day. The session was led by Sister BK Laxmi, Center Incharge of Shivshakti Bhavan, Bopodi, Pune, and coordinated by Sister Swati from the Nanded Brahma Kumaris Center.
The event saw active participation from more than 100 women who gathered to explore the theme of digital balance in the modern world. Sister BK Laxmi thoughtfully addressed key challenges such as digital addiction, reduced attention span, and the mental health impact of excessive screen use and constant online engagement.
She offered practical and spiritually grounded guidance for maintaining a healthy digital lifestyle through the following methods:
- Setting screen time limits to reduce digital dependency
- Taking regular digital detox breaks to rejuvenate the mind
- Practicing mindfulness and meditation to cultivate focus and inner stability
An engaging Q&A session allowed attendees to share their personal experiences and seek individual guidance on managing digital distractions in everyday life.
The session effectively raised awareness on the importance of a balanced digital routine. Participants expressed deep appreciation for the simple yet powerful techniques shared and many committed to implementing these practices in their daily lives.
The program concluded with a collective meditation session, creating a serene atmosphere of peace and self-reflection, leaving all attendees inspired and empowered.
