On 31 March 2026, a proud and inspiring milestone was achieved with the inauguration of the extension of the 1 MW Solar Photovoltaic Plant along with a 1.1 MWh Battery Storage System at the Indian One Solar Power Plant campus.

This new development has significantly strengthened the existing solar infrastructure. With this addition, the total energy capacity has now increased to 2 MW Solar PV with Battery Storage, 1 MW Grid-Interactive Solar PV System, and 1.2 MW Solar Thermal Power Generation.

This initiative is unique as it is a standalone captive system. It is designed to meet the daytime energy needs of Shantivan and nearby campuses while also storing extra solar energy in batteries for use after sunset. This ensures a reliable and continuous supply of clean energy.

The inauguration ceremony was gracefully conducted by Rajyogini BK Jayanti Didi, Additional Administrative Head of Brahma Kumaris, Rajyogi BK Mruthyunjaya Bhai, Additional Secretary General of Brahma Kumaris, and BK Lalit Inani, Secretary of Brahma Kumaris.
