The Brahma Kumaris St. Louis Meditation Center organized a beautiful and spiritually uplifting Diwali Celebration on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 3:15 pm to 5:00 pm at the Kirkwood Community Center Gymnasium, St. Louis, Missouri, USA. The event was attended by around 175 souls, who experienced an atmosphere filled with light, joy, and inner peace.
The program began with Amruta Padhye serving as the Master of Ceremonies, warmly welcoming everyone and introducing the event. Geetika Aggarwal and Shivali Patel presented graceful dance performances, followed by a lively and energetic trio dance by Dimple Thakkar, Dhara Patel, and Shubha Basuroy, which was received with great enthusiasm.
Sister Priya, Center Coordinator of the Brahma Kumaris St. Louis Meditation Center, conducted a special workshop titled “Awaken the Inner Light.” She beautifully explained the spiritual significance of the five days of Diwali, inspiring attendees to reflect on the deeper meaning of light and renewal. Reflective questions encouraged participants to discuss how to create a pure attitude, its influence on the atmosphere, and the power of good wishes and blessings in practical life.
A serene creative meditation was then led by Sister Priya on the theme of being a world benefactor. Participants exchanged their tea light candles three times, each exchange symbolizing a different spiritual awareness, deepening their inner connection and feelings of universal brotherhood.
The celebration concluded with a vibrant Group Dance featuring traditional Garba, Bhangra, and Bollywood styles, which brought great joy to all guests. The evening ended with everyone receiving Indian dinner, toli, and blessings, leaving hearts aglow with divine love and spiritual energy.
