Brahma Kumaris Poland organised a special event in Warsaw to commemorate the International Day of Peace, under the theme “Peace Begins Within.” The gathering brought together members of the community and distinguished guests to reflect on the significance of inner peace and the role of women in nurturing a peaceful and harmonious society. The event was graced by the presence of Sister Jayanti, whose presence added spiritual depth and significance to the occasion.
Her Excellency Ms Nita Bhushan, Ambassador of India to Poland, shared her thoughts with the gathering,
reflecting on the deeper significance of “Vande Mataram”—salutations to the mother. She highlighted how this melody not only enchants the heart but also conveys a profound message: when the divine feminine, the Shakti within, is awakened, darkness is dissolved.
The event also highlighted the unique contribution of women in leadership. Women leaders bring qualities of love, care and sustenance, reflecting the nurturing strength traditionally associated with motherhood. The message emphasised that mothers, through their ability to nurture and sustain, can become powerful instruments for creating peace and harmony.
