February 04, 2026 began on a serene and uplifting note with the visit of the staff of the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI), Chandigarh to the Brahma Kumaris Global Peace House, where they participated in an inner well-being and stress management session.
The visiting delegation was led by Dr. Vipin Kumar Koushal, Professor of Hospital Administration-cum-Medical Superintendent, along with his team. Heads of several other departments of PGI were also present, making the gathering meaningful and representative.
The session opened with a moment of silence and remembrance of the Supreme Soul, Shiv Baba, creating a calm and peaceful environment. This was followed by an inspiring talk by BK Anita Didi, Senior Rajyog Teacher,
who explained the importance of meditation in the daily lives of doctors and healthcare professionals. She shared simple and practical Rajyog meditation techniques to help manage stress, improve focus, and maintain emotional balance, and also gave an overview of the service activities of the Brahma Kumaris.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Vipin Kumar Koushal
appreciated the initiative and thanked the Brahma Kumaris team for organizing such a meaningful and peaceful session. He highlighted that spiritual interactions like these are essential for supporting the mental and emotional well-being of medical professionals.
At the conclusion of the program, all the participants were felicitated, making the visit a memorable and enriching experience for everyone present.
