On 5th November 2025, representatives from the Brahma Kumaris Environment Initiative had the privilege of visiting Jahota Village in Rajasthan, India — a community that stands as a remarkable model of holistic and sustainable development.
The visit highlighted how the village, under the visionary leadership of its local chief and dedicated residents, has fostered meaningful change across diverse aspects of rural life. From youth development and women empowerment to climate action, natural agriculture, and senior citizens’ wellbeing, Jahota embodies a living example of collective growth and community harmony.
The team was especially moved by the villagers’ commitment to inclusive governance, the promotion of sattvic (pure) food habits, and their deep-rooted emphasis on spiritual and environmental well-being. These values beautifully align with the principles of the Raj Rishi Gokul Gram Project, which envisions villages as centers of both sustainability and spiritual enrichment.
A brief guided meditation session was also held, allowing participants to experience inner peace and a deeper connection with nature’s vibrations. The serene environment of Jahota amplified the spiritual energy of the gathering, leaving all attendees inspired.
Special appreciation was expressed by senior members of the Brahma Kumaris for the community’s dedication to balance material progress with moral and spiritual values. They conveyed heartfelt blessings for Jahota’s continued journey as a model of integrated development and self-reliance.
The Brahma Kumaris extend warm congratulations and best wishes to the people of Jahota Village. This visit marks the beginning of ongoing collaboration and mutual learning — a shared effort to create a more sustainable, value-based, and spiritually empowered world.
