About this album

The Brahma Kumaris took root in South Africa in the mid-1980s, at a time of profound social and political change. What began with small gatherings in private homes and community spaces soon grew into dedicated centres in major cities including Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Nelspruit, and Cape Town. Over the years, its message of soul consciousness, equality, dignity, and peace has provided a unifying space for people across racial, cultural, religious, and social backgrounds, contributing to the spirit of healing and reconciliation in post-apartheid South Africa. The organization is sustained by a dedicated network of volunteer teachers and service-minded individuals across the country.
