“When someone's words or behavior hurt you, practise this meditation to cultivate patience, inner strength, compassion, and peace.”
This guided meditation helps you cultivate patience, inner peace, and the strength to remain calm when others criticize, hurt, or disappoint you. By connecting with the Supreme Soul, you learn to respond with understanding and compassion rather than anger or sadness.
With regular practice, you can strengthen your self-respect, manage your responses, and transform hurt into compassion. The affirmation “My tolerance is my strength” reminds you that true tolerance comes from inner stability, love, and the ability to remain peaceful in difficult situations.

Om Shanti.
Take a slow, deep breath in and gently breathe out. Allow your body to relax. Slow down your thoughts. Now bring your awareness to the center of your forehead, the space between your eyebrows. Visualize a tiny, sparkling point of light, a radiant soul seated peacefully in the center of the forehead.
I am light, a pure being, the one who gives life and movement to this physical body. This body is my instrument, and I am the one who operates this instrument. I am a peaceful soul, a pure and powerful soul. Feel this awareness deeply. I am a point of divine light. Silent, stable, peaceful.
Now gently connect with the Supreme Soul, God, the ocean of love, peace, and purity. I experience God's pure vibrations surrounding me. I awaken a divine power within me, the power to tolerate.
I bring to my mind a situation. Perhaps someone has spoken harshly to me, someone has criticized me, someone has lied, someone has deceived me, or someone has behaved in a way that has hurt me.
Normally, such moments can create anger, sadness, or a desire to respond immediately. But today, I pause. I become the detached observer, and I remind myself that their behavior does not have to create pain within me.
Perhaps they themselves are in pain. Their words may come from their own wounds. Their anger may come from their own inner unrest. Their behavior may be a reflection of what they are carrying within. I don't have to absorb their pain. I can remain peaceful. I can understand without becoming disturbed.
I can tolerate without feeling weak because true tolerance is not suppression. It is inner strength. I allow God's love to fill my heart, and I experience a beautiful truth: when there is love in the heart, tolerance does not feel like suffering. In love, I don't have to tolerate; I simply understand.
I look at every soul as a child of God. Every soul is learning. Every soul is moving through their own journey, and I choose to respond with compassion.
I don't allow someone's anger to steal my peace. I don't allow someone's criticism to reduce my self-respect. I don't allow someone's behavior to change my beautiful state. I remain stable like a mountain, strong, peaceful, and unshaken.
Now visualize a situation that usually tests your patience. See yourself standing in that situation, but this time, you pause, you breathe, you observe, and you choose peace.
You respond with dignity. You respond with love. You respond with understanding.
Feel the power within you. Say to yourself: I have the power to tolerate. I have the power to remain peaceful. I have the power to remain loving.
The words of others cannot control my state of mind because I am the master of my own mind. I am the master of my responses. I choose what I allow to enter my consciousness.
Now experience this power becoming stronger within you: the power to tolerate, the power to understand, the power to remain peaceful, and the power to transform hurt into compassion.
I am not weak when I remain calm. My calmness is my strength. My love is my victory. I am a powerful soul. With my power of tolerance, I overcome the demons of insult. I overcome the darkness of sadness.
Whenever someone becomes angry, I remain peaceful. Whenever someone criticizes me, I remain dignified. Whenever someone hurts me, I choose understanding. Whenever a situation becomes difficult, I awaken my power to tolerate.
I remain connected with the Supreme Soul, and I continue to radiate love and peace all around. I am Shakti. My tolerance is my strength.
Now take a gentle, deep breath. Feel yourself once again as that tiny, sparkling point of light, seated in the center of the forehead, radiating peace, radiating purity, radiating strength.
I am Shakti.
Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.
