6 December 2025, Nairobi, Kenya:

The first Interfaith Talanoa Dialogue at UNEA-7 brought together around 80 participants from various countries and faith traditions, uniting them in a shared mission for a resilient and sustainable planet.

Faith-based organizations — including CYNESA, the Lutheran World Federation, the Anglican Communion, SAFCEI, and the Brahma Kumaris — co-organized the gathering, creating an open and inclusive space for value-based discussions on climate, ethics, waste management, and the role of faith in UNEA processes.

Hosted at the Brahma Kumaris Serve Africa Retreat Centre, the event featured meaningful reflections guided by the Talanoa method, focusing on:

  • Where are we?
  • Where do we want to go?
  • How do we get there together?

Participants also shared a touching spiritual moment with a Buddhist prayer, a Christian song, and a guided meditation by the Brahma Kumaris.

The evening concluded with a plant-based dinner, symbolizing care for the Earth and all beings.

A powerful demonstration of interfaith unity and ethical leadership for the planet.
