On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the Brahma Kumari Sisters of Chandigarh shared Godly remembrance and heartfelt wishes while tying the sacred thread of love and protection to a wide range of esteemed dignitaries, officers, and institutions.
The celebration began with the honour of tying Rakhis to eminent political leaders, including
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana; Sh. Harbhajan Singh ETO, Hon’ble Minister for Power and Public Works, Punjab; Sh. Sanjay Tandon, Member National Executive, BJP; and Sh. Jatinder Malhotra, State President, BJP Chandigarh.
The Sisters also visited senior officials of the Chandigarh Administration, including
Chief Secretary Sh. Rajeev Verma, IAS, Finance Secretary Sh. Diprava Lakra, IAS, Education Secretary Ms. Prerna Puri, IAS, and several other departmental heads, sharing the spiritual significance of Raksha Bandhan.
From the Punjab and Haryana Government, more than thirty senior IAS, IPS, and IFS officers received the divine Rakhi, among them Sh. K. A. P. Sinha, Chief Secretary, Punjab; Smt. Neelima, CEO, Punjab Energy Development Agency; Sh. V.K. Meena, Principal Secretary, Social Justice Empowerment & Minorities, Punjab; Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Haryana; and Sh. S.K. Jain, former DGP Haryana. The message of purity, spiritual empowerment, and God’s protection was lovingly conveyed.
In the judiciary, Justice Aman Chaudhary, Justice Vikram Aggarwal, and Justice Jagmohan Bansal of the Punjab and Haryana High Court received the sacred Rakhi and blessings.
The Brahma Kumari Sisters further extended Baapdada’s Rakhi blessings to the Air Commodore – 12 Wing, Indian Air Force, and to the inmates and staff of orphanages, schools for the deaf and dumb, schools for the blind, police stations, Model Jail, Burail, as well as numerous schools and colleges across the Chandigarh region.
This spiritual service not only strengthened bonds of mutual respect and goodwill but also spread the universal message of peace, purity, and brotherhood, which is the true essence of Raksha Bandhan.
