On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Brahma Kumaris from Vijayawada tied sacred Rakhis to the Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh, H. E. Abdul Nazeer ji, and the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Bro. N. Chandrababu Naidu ji.
At the Raj Bhavan, BK Shanta from the Universal Peace Retreat Centre, Vijayawada, tied a Rakhi to H. E. Abdul Nazeer ji. She was accompanied by BK Padmaja, BK Nagamani, BK Ratna Kumari, BK Damodar, and BK Srinivas. On this occasion, the Governor expressed his intention to launch the Nasha Mukth Abhiyaan (Drug-Free Campaign) across Andhra Pradesh, appreciating the values and service of the Brahma Kumaris.
Later, at the Secretariat, BK Jaya behan tied a Rakhi to Hon’ble Chief Minister Bro. N. Chandrababu Naidu ji, in the presence of BK Padmaja, BK Nagaraju, BK Venkateswarlu, BK Ratna Kumari, and BK Dilip. Bro. Dilip briefed the Chief Minister about the ongoing services of the IT Wing and proposed the introduction of Digital Wellness Courses in all schools and colleges across the state, which was well received.
The celebrations reflected the spirit of Raksha Bandhan, promoting harmony, protection, and collective responsibility for a better society.
