Situated near Umarni Village, Abu Road (Rajasthan), the Solar Thermal Power Plant is constructed on 35 acres of land. It’s a 1 MW Solar thermal dish power plant with storage and cogeneration. It consists of 770 solar dishes with dual axis tracking system and 760 mirrors per dish. It also utilizes static receivers to store thermal energy for 16 hours. 2000 trees were planted on and around the power plant that makes it greener, self sufficient and beautiful.
