A three-day orientation program for first-year students at Techno India University, Kolkata became a memorable and spiritually enriching experience with the presence of Brahma Kumaris Sisters.
The program commenced with the felicitation of the guests, followed by an inspiring session where BK Sister Monish and BK Sister Asha congratulated the new students on their achievements. They motivated them to practice meditation daily to enhance concentration and mental stability.
BK Sister Madhleena presented an engaging PowerPoint session on values and ethics, highlighting how moral integrity and positivity form the foundation of a successful life. Sister Asha beautifully explained that just as a doctor studies a disease to cure it, every individual must understand and nurture good thoughts to achieve personal growth and success.
Adding further inspiration, Sister Monish encouraged students to begin this new chapter of their lives with focus and determination, advising them to limit distractions—especially those arising from excessive mobile use—and remain dedicated to their goals.
The session concluded with a guided meditation experience, offering the students moments of inner peace and deep silence.
More than 200 participants attended each day of the three-day event, making it a powerful step toward nurturing balanced, value-based, and mindful young minds.
