The Brahma Kumaris, Kolkata Museum, celebrated a historic occasion with the inauguration of the Global Enlightenment Retreat Centre (GERC) on 8th November 2025. The event marked the beginning of a new chapter in spiritual service and harmony.
On this auspicious day, the nationwide initiative Year of Unity & Trust was launched, promoting faith, harmony, and collective strength. A meditation book titled 51 Steps to Soulful Awakening was also released in Bengali, Hindi, and English editions.
Dignitaries present included Justice Biswaroop Chowdhury, Hon’ble Judge, Calcutta High Court; Shri Dilip Mondal, Hon’ble Minister of State for Transport; Rajyogini BK Jayanti; Rajyogi BK Mruthyunjaya; and BK Kanan, Zonal Incharge, Eastern Zone, among others.
All guests appreciated the Brahma Kumaris spiritual contribution to society and lauded the GERC as a serene space for meditation, leadership training, and value-based living.
The event concluded with a peaceful meditation session, blessing all attendees with deep inner calm. Around 800 people benefitted, drawing inspiration for a life of unity, peace, and positive transformation.
