On 10 June 2026, it was a privilege to meet CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, Immediate Past President, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), New Delhi.
BK Yeshu, Capital Coordinator, Finance Fraternity Seva Wing, Brahma Kumaris, presented an overview of the activities being undertaken during the Silver Jubilee Year of Om Shanti Retreat Centre. The discussion also covered the Spiritual Investment Programme (SIP) and ORC's initiatives aimed at helping professionals build inner resilience, emotional balance, and clarity through Rajyoga Meditation.
Also present during the interaction were BK Meenu and BK Vishal.
The meeting was attended by Shri Harvinder Singh, Director, Human Resource Directorate, ICAI; CA Umesh Ramnarayan Sharma, Member, Central Council (2025–2029); CA Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, Member, Central Council (2025–2029); and CA Purushottam H. Khandelwal, Member, Central Council.
Discussions focused on employee engagement and well-being initiatives that could be undertaken in collaboration with Brahma Kumaris. The strong interest shown by ICAI's senior leadership in exploring and advancing such programmes was highly encouraging.
CA (Dr.) Jai Kumar Batra, Secretary, ICAI, also expressed support for engaging with the Brahma Kumaris in the area of employee well-being and development.
The opportunities for experiential learning programmes at ORC, enabling officials and executives to experience the practical benefits of meditation and self-management, were also presented.
In addition, special sessions that could be offered in connection with International Yoga Day were discussed.
The senior management of ICAI was invited to participate in the forthcoming "Mind-Money Management – 4th National Sewa Happiness Unlimited @ Lifetime Conference 2026," to be held at Mansarovar, Abu Road, from 12–16 August 2026.
