On 8 July 2026, the United Nations Department of Global Communications (UN DGC) Civil Society Resource Center was officially inaugurated. The new Resource Center will be open every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., serving as a dedicated space for civil society organizations and NGOs associated with the United Nations.
The Center has been established to facilitate collaboration, information sharing, and engagement among civil society partners, strengthening their contribution to the United Nations' mission and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Brahma Kumaris, as an NGO in General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and associated with the UN Department of Global Communications, welcomes this initiative. The Resource Center is expected to provide additional opportunities for dialogue, networking, and cooperation with fellow civil society organizations, supporting shared efforts to promote peace, human values, and sustainable development.
The Brahma Kumaris extends its best wishes for the success of this initiative and looks forward to continued collaboration with the United Nations and its civil society partners in service to humanity.
