Brahmakumaris Serra Serena Villa is a retreat centre. It is located in the mountainous city of Serra Negra in the southeastern Brazil which was designated priority area for conservation and sustainable use. Brahmakumaris Serra Serena villa was built in 2001 using sustainable means with maximum environmental preservation maintained. In the recent years, several sustainable practices like organic gardening, composting, garbage separation, organic septic tank and solar energy capture have been implemented. Serra Serena aims to be an example of harmony between man and nature. It has hosted many retreats and conferences for the local and international community.
