As an engineer and airport leader, I lived mechanically—until I came to Gyan Sarovar. I experienced a soul consciousness transformation, learned real trust in God, and embraced meditation as a way to reconnect with my human essence. What a journey from confusion to powerful clarity!
I’m Mukesh Nankani, basically an engineer with an MBA and working with Adani Airports, Mangalore. I came with my family. This is the first time I’ve come to Gyan Sarovar, Brahma Kumaris — Brahma Kumaris is a new subject for me. I just understood what Brahma Kumaris is for the last 2 months and what a transformation!
It was almost as good as impossible for me to understand what exactly meditation is. I used to feel that everybody is telling a lie that they are meditating. I came to know I was a fool. I have just touched upon the basics of meditation, starting at almost an impossible time to wake up — at 3:45 and starting at morning 4:00. But this is the way humans were designed.
I forgot; I tried to become a machine. Now I am trying a basic process of reversing myself back to a human being — a good human being, a powerful soul — along with my family. So what a transformation!
Starting from the physical part of Gyan Sarovar — it is one of the best. You can say it is a Harmony House or Heaven, some guys say that. Secondly, right from the time when we have some relations and when we are on the organizational front, we have some confusions, but here I got clarity.
There were some doubts. I learned what trust is over here. “God-fearing” earlier used to be my basic statement if I do something wrong as a sin. Now I’m the son of an Almighty Lord, so He is a teacher to me, He is beloved to me, and much more.
Most important is “Who am I?” It was just a matter of becoming body conscious earlier — when I used to think about my personality or clothing and what not. Now it is all about having a clarity of being soul conscious.
Leadership — it’s miles to go from here. It is just the beginning, I can say. And I would like to thank the Almighty Lord and my family, and most important, Shivani Didi, who was the inspiration for me to come here.
We are living in an era when a brother doesn’t go to brother’s place quite often, and I’ve come to this new place. All in all, it’s a wonderful experience.
I would like to further move to Mangalore and continue some additional learning process.
Thank you.
