"To celebrate true Holi means to make the past the past."
23 March 1970 · English
What does BapDada see and what do all of you see? You are seeing and BapDada is also seeing, but what are you seeing and what is BapDada seeing? Is there a difference or is it the same? What is BapDada especially seeing today as He looks at the spiritual children? There is a speciality in every activity, and so what special aspect is BapDada looking at today in this meeting? Today, BapDada is seeing something special, and is happy on seeing that. BapDada is looking at the speed of efforts of each one of you, and is also seeing the spirit (energy) of your stage. According to the extent of the spirit , so will be the speed . So, BapDada is happy seeing this. When the speed is fast, success in service will also be fast. How did you celebrate Holi today? (We celebrated it in the subtle region.) How did you celebrate it in the subtle region? Did you just celebrate it in the subtle region, or here also? Did you just celebrate it in the avyakt form? To celebrate Holi means that from today you make the lesson firm that the past is the past. This is what it means to celebrate Holi. You explain the meaning of Holi to be: to let whatever has passed to be absolutely finished; to let the past be the past and to move forward. This is what it means to celebrate Holi, that is, to put the meaning of Holi into your practical life. In order to transform your efforts, you have to keep one or another aspect daily in front of yourself. So, to make this promise is to celebrate Holi. Anything of the past should be experienced as though it is a matter of some past birth. It should be experienced to be something of the past to this extent. When your stage becomes like this, your speed of efforts will then become fast. The main thing that makes your speed of efforts slow is thinking about the things of the past; to think about the things of your own past or those of others, and to keep them in your heart. One is to keep it in your heart (chit) and the other is to think about it (chintan). So, neither should it be in your heart, nor should you be thinking about it. The third aspect is speaking about it. So, today, BapDada has come to celebrate Holi. You have called BapDada to celebrate Holi. To make this colour fast (permanent) means to celebrate Holi.
On Holi, firstly they throw colours. What is the second thing they do? On the first day, they burn something and on the second day, they celebrate. After burning they have to celebrate and after celebrating they eat sweets. What sweets do you eat here? You have been told what colour you have to be coloured with. Now, why do you eat sweets? When this colour is applied, the virtue of sweetness is automatically imbibed. By not looking at the past of yourself or of others, you become very simple and easy-natured. What virtue is visible in those who become easy-natured? That of sweetness; you see sweetness in their eyes, on their face, and in their activity in a visible form. So, sweetness comes through this colour and this is why, there is the system of eating sweets. What else do they do at Holi? (They have an auspicious meeting.) What is the meaning of an auspicious meeting? How will you celebrate an auspicious meeting here? After you have imbibed sweetness what is the auspicious meeting? There is the harmonization of sanskars. You become distant to one another because of different sanskars. When you are coloured with this colour and have imbibed sweetness, what is the harmonization? All of you have just come back having had a conference, have you not? This bhatthi has been created by BapDada for harmonisation sanskars. When there has been the harmonising of sanskars, when there has been this gathering, then the revelation of that gathering will be visible. You have a conference, and BapDada is harmonising your sanskars. So the auspicious meeting is the memorial of this meeting. BapDada has a meeting with the children, but the greatest meeting amongst yourselves is the meeting of sanskars. When your sanskars are harmonised, there will be cries of victory. The praise of the goddesses is that they enable everyone to attain success. If someone wants to attain a method for success, to whom would he go? Who are the ones who would enable him to attain the method for success? The goddesses. When your method of making effort becomes perfect, you will then attain this success. People never go to BapDada in order to attain success; they go to the goddesses. The goddesses themselves attained success, and so they are able to give others the power to attain success. You will attain success in your efforts when there is the harmonisation of sanskars.
Where is the longest queue of bhagats? (In front of the goddesses.) There are the largest crowds in the temples to Hanuman and to the goddesses. What does this signify? Who will see the queue in the corporeal form or (original form)? Who will see the queue that forms after revelation takes place? Only the children will see it. BapDada is incognito. Only the children will see it in the practical form. So the visible memorial of this is the longest queue of bhagats who queue up in front of the memorial of the children. However, when will this queue be formed? Only when the expression “Sanskars not harmonising” is removed will the queue be formed. You do not have to study anything else in this bhatthi other than how to reveal the practical embodiment of the final stage. This gathering is for harmonising your sanskars. When something has to be harmonised with something else, what do you have to do? In order to harmonise sanskars, there has to be a meeting of hearts. With the meeting of hearts, even sanskars will be harmonised, and in order to harmonise sanskars, you have to forget, finish or merge them within yourself. You have to do all these three things. Some things you have to finish, some things you have to forget and some things you have to merge within yourself. Then your sanskars will be harmonised. This is what it means to become an embodiment of the final form of success. You now have to bring the final stage close. You have to accept and give regard to what others say. If you accept what others say and give regard to that, then both perfection and success will come close. You simply have to pay attention to these two things and bring them both close. To give regard to each other means to claim a right for the future. Do you know who this bhatthi is for? What is this bhatthi called? You do not even have to apply a tilak. Instead of a tilak, you are given a chindi (a jewel set on the forehead). A tilak would be given to others. This bhatthi has to be given a chindi. A tilak is little and a chindi is large. A chindi is a symbol of maturity. Even little children apply a tilak, but only grown-up wear a chindi. You adopt a chindi from the moment you have the courage to take up responsibility. So, which is better: a tilak or a chindi? All of you are those who have pure thoughts for others. To be serviceable means to have pure thoughts for others. Therefore, the symbol for this group who have pure thoughts for others is a chindi, and they are called those who have pure, positive thoughts. When you have positive thoughts, the worries of everyone are finished. You are those who have pure, positive thoughts and who finish the worries of everyone. What is your slogan ? Just as those people say that the soul is the Supreme Soul, in the same way, what is the slogan of this group ? "A child who is also a master". This slogan is especially for this group . You have now received the name, the slogan and the task, and so what else do you have to do in this bhatthi? The lectures you have to give are of how to harmonise sanskars. In this bhatthi, each of you has to perform the wonder of making many others equal to yourself in your sanskars; sanskars of perfection, not your own sanskars. What will happen when each one of you makes many others have the sanskars of perfection? There will be completion (destruction). This is the group that brings about completion. And this group is also the group that carries out establishment. What is the completion, what is the sustenance and what is the establishment that you have to carry out? You have to clarify all these three topics in this bhatthi. This is why you are having the trimurti chindi applied: establishment, sustenance and completion, that is, destruction.
So, you have to clarify what you have to do; that which can be done in a practical way, not just in words. You should be able to do it practically and be able to make others do it also. You have to make these things clear. These three tasks can only be successful when you become the form of a bindi. This is why you are being given the chindi as the memorial of this task of yours. Your awareness, your stage and your task: all three are included in this memorial of yours. Special groups have special aspects. Have all of you now come to celebrate Holi, or to see the decoration of this group ? Consider it to be a great fortune that you have the part in the drama of coming close to such elevated souls. To observe the decoration means to make yourself just as elevated. This is the decoration. Make yourself such that just as you have come close to this group in a physical way, in the same way, you also come close to them in relationship. Those who observe this are no less. The souls who simply observe this are elevated and close. You are the jewels who please BapDada's heart. Who will come first? BapDada sees all of you at the same speed , and, He therefore cannot give the number, one or two . At present, all who are in remembrance of One are definitely number one . Achcha.
When all of you come close to this group in your love and your speed, we will have your ceremony too. (Then BapDada applied a tilak and had a heart-to-heart conversation with each of the senior sisters.)
Didi: You are a child and a master and this is why BapDada seats you on the same seat, on the throne (on the gaddi). In the physical way, you are having this ceremony, but can you have this ceremony in the avyakt form? The child has now been made into a master and made to sit on the throne. In the corporeal form, you were seated on the heart throne, you are now on the throne of service and in the future, you will be seated on the throne of the kingdom. At the confluence age, you are seated on the throne now. Whatever part is fixed in the drama is full of significance. You will continue to understand it clearly day by day. Sometimes, something done out of love also ties you in bondage. Just as there is the bondage of love, there is also the bondage of duty. So, this is a bondage of duty. You are in the bondage of duty in the avyakt form. In the corporeal form, you were in a bondage of love.
Kumarka Dadi: Did you ever think, even in your dreams, that Baba would make you sit on the throne through the avyakt form? Who can be seated on the throne? Those who are always intoxicated and whose aim is absolutely accurate. Intoxication and aim, yoga and knowledge. Only such children claim a right to all three thrones. There is also the trimurti throne. If you are able to be seated on one throne, you can then be seated on all three thrones. What happens when the Father looks at the children seated on the throne? BapDada is also intoxicated that He has such worthy children.
Janki Dadi: Up to now you have become an embodiment of words; in the future you will become an image that grants visions. At present others have visions through words, but in the future they will have visions through silence. What will emerge from everyone’s lips when you become this? It is remembered that all are forms of God and this praise takes a practical form in the Confluence Age. All the things that happen on the path of devotion have been mixed up with things of the confluence age. Your stage at the end becomes one in which there is the practical experience of BapDada in everyone. The sound that will emerge from everyone’s lips is: ‘This is an identical form of BapDada’. When you become an identical form, others will have visions. Therefore, because people see this final form in everyone, they have confused everything and say that all are forms of God. They have considered the stage of being equal to the Father as being a form of God. All of those things have happened here, and so, in order to become an image that grants visions, you have to become equal to BapDada. What should you now check? The stage of equanimity; there should be no other form of checking. Those were the things of childhood. You now have to check this: the greater the equanimity, the greater the respect you will receive. You can know your self-respect through your equanimity. So ask yourself to what extent you have become equal and how much equality you have to bring: this is what you have to check and inspire others to check. Consider this, too: the more equanimity, the more closeness. You can discern a close jewel through its equanimity.
Chandermani Dadi: Are you Suryamani (jewel of the sun) or Chandermani (jewel of the moon)? Where is the residence of those who are Chandermani and where is the residence of those who are Suryamani? Which jewel are you? (Both) You are the form of Shakti and also the form of coolness. This is why you are saying that you are Suryamani and also Chandermani. You now have the knowledge, but you don’t have that stage yet, do you? You have received light through knowledge, but you haven’t yet received might. When you become the same and constant in both light and might, your number will then be declared. Now, you can give others the light of knowledge, but you cannot give might. This is why success is according to that. Everyone is receiving light, that is, the enlightenment that you are ahead in the number in giving light, whereas others have a number ahead in giving might. Some are this in both. There are three qualities. (When BapDada was applying a tilak, everyone was applauding.) In the golden age, bugles of happiness will be play, whereas at the moment, there is only applause.
Nirmala Shanta Dadi: You are being victorious over the illness of the body. At the confluence age, you receive everything: a crown, a tilak, a throne and the fortune of “suhaag” (fortune of having a husband). BapDada enables you to have all attainments at the same time, such that the birthday gift of this one birth continues for many births. In fact, children have to settle the karmic accounts of many births in one birth, whereas all of these of this one birth continue for many births. The others of many births is finished in one birth, and so because of the karmic accounts of many births being finish in one birth, it sometimes comes with force. BapDada continues to observe this battle and you also observe your own battle and the battles of others. When you begin to observe all of this as a detached observer, this illness will then change and become a game. BapDada observes this as the detached Observer and is also pleased to see your courage, and at the same time, is also co-operative. You do not get tired, do you? (No.) The children of the tireless Father are tireless and imperishable. Do you know what you have to do now? Now, at the end, you have to become an image that grants visions. The more you have the stage of being a detached observer, you can understand that you will become an image that grants visions to that extent. This is the final effort that is now left. You have to become an image that grants visions and grant a vision of BapDada and your own self.
Shantamani Dadi: What is the main virtue needed to bring nobility? The more clarity there is, the greater the nobility. Those who are clear are easy-natured and elevated. Clarity is close to nobility, and to the extent that there is clarity, there is also just as much success. Success then brings you close. How can you tell the signs of the jewels who are close? Through their equality. You can know about closeness from the equality to BapDada’s sanskars. So, equality is a sign of closeness. You are an original jewel; original and eternal. Those who are original jewels become praiseworthy eternally because you are helpers of Adi Dev. The original jewels are the support for the world’s task.
Ratanmohini Dadi: Are you loving or co-operative? (Both.) You are equally loving and co-operative. To the extent that they are loving, accordingly they are also co-operative. A person who is loving cannot stay without co-operating. To the extent that you are loving, accordingly, you are also co-operative. You are also the form of power to the same extent. When there is equality in love, co-operation and power, there is then the completion. Are you double crowned at this time or will you be that in the future? Are you double-crowned at the confluence age? What double crown is it? One is of love and the other is of service. The crown of service is the crown of responsibility. One is physical and the other is subtle, are they not? The
crown of love is subtle. Those who are double crowned here also become double crowned there. BapDada gives you a double crown. The crowns are numberwise, are they not? Here, too, the crown will be visible, numberwise, according to the effort.
Manohar Dadi: When you used to have avyakt programmes in the sakar days, you used to sit with that decoration. Today, that decorated image is being seen. Each one’s speciality is his own, and this speciality brings you close. What is your speciality? To be loving to all and co-operative with all; this is your speciality. Those who are loving to all receive everyone’s love. Who can be loving to all? Those who have renounced everything. Those who have renounced everything are loving to all and also co-operative. Those who have such elevated thoughts claim a right to an elevated status. Let there be the feeling of benefitting everyone not just your even in your thoughts. In the same way, you also claim a right to all attainments. Such ones receive respect from BapDada and everyone. To claim a right to respect is also a big thing. Achcha.
