On 15th August 2025, a grand celebration of Independence Day combined with the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami was organized by the Brahma Kumaris, Borivali, at Thakur College of Science & Commerce, Thakur Village, Kandivali East, Mumbai.
The program commenced with a special class conducted by Respected Sister BK Divyaprabha ji, Incharge of Borivali Subzone, who shared deep spiritual insights on the values of purity, peace, and divine remembrance.
To mark Shri Krishna Janmashtami, a series of cultural performances were presented:
- A soulful song melody by Sister BK Harina,
- A graceful group dance by sisters of Thakur Village Brahma Kumaris Centre,
- Another vibrant group dance by sisters of Dahisar Brahma Kumaris Centre.
These performances beautifully portrayed the divine qualities and joy associated with Shri Krishna’s life and message.
For Independence Day celebrations, the audience witnessed:
- A patriotic song presented by Sister BK Harina,
- An inspiring musical drama staged by Brothers and Sisters of Prabhu Upvan Brahma Kumaris Centre, depicting the power of unity and spiritual strength for a peaceful nation,
- A heartfelt song by Sister BK Seema, igniting a sense of love for the motherland.
The event was beautifully coordinated and guided by Sister BK Parul, Incharge of Brahma Kumaris Centre, Gorai, ensuring a smooth and harmonious flow of activities.
The celebration brought together devotion, patriotism, and spiritual wisdom, leaving participants deeply inspired and enriched. The unique combination of cultural, devotional, and spiritual insights made the day memorable for everyone present.
