On 13th March 2026, J Watumull Global Hospital & Research Centre (GHRC) celebrated Patient Safety Awareness Week at the GHRC Auditorium under the theme “Team Up for Patient Safety”.
The event saw active participation from Consultants, Medical Officers, Nursing Officers, and staff members, showing the importance of teamwork in delivering safe and quality healthcare.
The program focused on creating awareness about the International Patient Safety Goals (IPSG). An informative session was conducted to explain IPSG principles in a simple and clear way. This was followed by an interactive quiz, which helped participants improve their knowledge about patient safety.
A special skit was performed by the GHRC Nursing Team, showing practical patient safety practices in daily clinical care. The performance was engaging and helped everyone understand the importance of safety in real situations.
Such programs help build awareness, teamwork, and responsibility among healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety.
GHRC remains committed to “Teaming Up for Patient Safety” by continuously following national and international safety standards and providing the best care to patients.
