Guided Meditation Practice
(Turn on above audio and start practicing meditation)
Close your eyes gently. If you’re comfortable, keep them partially or half-open. Feel the gentle rhythm of your breath. Inhale peace, exhale any tension.
Imagine yourself as a radiant point of light in the center of your forehead. This light represents your true self, a peaceful, powerful soul. You are the master of your thoughts, feelings, and responses.
Reflect on the idea: “Do I create anger, or do people make me angry?” Realize that every emotion, including anger, is a choice. Today, affirm to yourself, “I am not a slave to anyone or any situation. The remote control of my mind is in my hands.”
Visualize a remote control in your hand. This represents your power to choose your reactions. When someone tries to press your buttons, remember, you control your channel. Choose to remain calm, peaceful, and loving.
Now, let’s practice a 24-hour emotional fast. For the next day, no matter what happens around you, maintain your stability and peace. If someone behaves negatively, respond with your beautiful qualities of peace, love, and respect. Your positivity has the power to transform negativity around you.
Visualize a person who often challenges your patience. Decide that today, regardless of their behavior, you will respond only with peace, love, and respect. Prepare your mind for this every morning. Start with gratitude to God, then remind yourself of your commitment to positivity.
Envision interacting with this person. They may speak unkindly or act negatively, but see yourself responding with calmness and kindness. Feel the inner strength this brings. Each positive response increases your inner power.
Now, let’s shift our focus to gratitude. Begin with being thankful to God for everything in your life. Feel this gratitude deeply. Next, express gratitude to your mind and body for their health and resilience.
Think of your family, friends, and colleagues. Send them mental thanks for their love and support. Extend this gratitude to nature, for its beauty and sustenance.
Lastly, be grateful even to those who trouble you. They provide opportunities for your growth and inner strength. Each challenge is a chance to increase your soul power.
Repeat these affirmations to yourself:
“I am a powerful soul. The remote control of my life is in my hands.
I am always happy.” Feel these truths resonate within you.
Gently bring your awareness back to the room. Open your eyes fully when you’re ready.
Remember, you have the power to create a beautiful, peaceful life through your thoughts and responses. May you be blessed with an abundance of peace, love, and happiness.
