She consistently envisaged her husband free from his habit, aligning his lifestyle with ‘Satvik’ principles, which denote purity and positivity.
Miraculously, within just one to one-and-a-half months of persistent thought, her husband expressed his own long-considered decision to quit smoking. This incident perfectly encapsulates the concept of ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’ – achieving through resolve. The idea is straightforward yet profound: hold onto a thought without dilution or doubt, and it will manifest into reality.
The story highlights not just the possibility of influencing others positively but also underscores the potential of thoughts in achieving personal transformation. Whether it’s shedding a negative habit or developing a new, positive one, the power of thought is paramount.
How does one apply this in everyday life? Start by identifying a habit or trait you wish to develop or change. Create a positive affirmation around it – for example, “I am a patient soul.” Repeat this affirmation regularly, especially during routine activities like eating or cooking. This constant reinforcement gradually shifts your mindset, making what seemed impossible increasingly achievable.
