From a Chartered Accountant to a global spiritual leader, Journey that illuminates the path to enlightenment and human values

Born on 7 January 1934 at Amritsar (City of the Golden Temple famous Sikh Shrine) in Punjab, India.

BK Brij Mohan is a popular motivational speaker, writer and broadcaster. He is known for presenting deep spiritual truths with wit and humour. He maintains his amiable and humble self while carrying out his responsibilities as Addl. Secretary-General of the Brahma Kumaris, a global spiritual organisation with Hqs. in Mt. Abu, Rajasthan, India and presence in over 110 countries, spanning all five continents.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, BK Brij Mohan’s spiritual journey began as a young college graduate in 1953. After working for 17 years in the Fertilizer Corporation of India (A Govt. of India undertaking), he resigned from the post of Dy. Finance Manager in 1973 to dedicate himself fully to spiritual service of humanity.

BK Brij Mohan has travelled extensively in all five continents delivering Lectures and conducting Rajyoga Retreats. He has been a delegate at several International conferences like the World Hindu Conference in Mauritius, International Religious Conference in South Africa, World Forum of Spiritual Culture in Kazakhstan. He also participated in the United Nations Millennium in the year 2000 & Presentation of BKs Million Minutes of Peace Appeal project at UN HQs, New York.

He is a tireless promoter of Human Values and has organised numerous seminars on social and spiritual themes across the nation during the last eight decades of his spiritual journey. He has been an active member of the Core Committee on Education in Human Values, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.

BK Brij Mohan is the Director of Jollywood Studio, Om Shanti Retreat Centre (ORC), Gurgaon and has produced several short feature films on various socio-spiritual themes.

• Graduated in Commerce (Hons.) in 1953 and Law in 1955 from Delhi University.

• Qualified as Chartered Accountant in 1956.
